"Hanya Aku Cinta Kau Sayang" also known as #hacks this coming May.. we're not sure on the exact date it will be aired on the radio but we promise you guys, all of you will be blown away with this new single of Faizal's.. by judging on the title already we know that for sure its gonna be awesome!

He's upcoming single #hacks is a bit different from his previous single Maafkan Ku Oh Cinta.. This time his genre is more to groovy and more to the Neyo-ish style.. hmmm i haven't got the chance to hear the sneek peek yet but i've already imagined how it sounds like.. hmmm where do i start? ok... last saturday 5th march,

we celebrated Our idol Faizal Isa's Birthday Bash at East Coast Park..

da' FUNKY FAI crews collaborated with EFFESS crews for this event.. so the event started at 2pm in the noon as it was

hie guys... alright lets get straight to the point ya...

okkkkk on 26/02/2011, Our idol Faizal Isa was invited to perform at his ex school TMC Academy for the launching of their new campus located at Marymount, Jalan Pemimpin.. The event was scheduled at 12.30pm onwards..
Faizal performed two songs.. The first song was 'Stop And Stare' by One Republic which eventually brings us back to the idol spectacular days... and then for the 2nd song, he blown us way with his Single 'Maafkan ku oh cinta' better known as #mkoc which lasted 34 weeks in Ria charts...

After the awesome performances, we were given an opportunity to go on tour around the campus with Faizal and his family...

take it away!! oh well it was such a blast.. and the few of us that attended the event really had fun.... and we felt like a one big family... ;)

Hey guys,

How are you guys doing? i hope you guys are doing fine at school and etc..

Before i say this... i need you guys to know how important it is a song request that cost us

30 cents a day can make a difference.... i have received a lot of text msges and emails at fb saying your phone bills has gone up... i understand how pressurizing it is for you guys to answer your parents... but look... i have the best solution for you guys....

Why not we make a deal...? we take turns requesting for the song... but i realised that, based on what i hear, it seems that all this while it has been the same group of people who requested for the song.... that can't go on you know... those who have been requesting everyday are not rich people also...

if EACH of US the FUNKY FAI CREW, request for Maafkan Ku (OH CINTA) ONCE A DAY...

i sincerely believe that it is a good idea.. Just imagine if 10 people do that for each segment, Go Glam, Skoolz And Laguku... Dear Funky Fai,

Hope you guys didn't miss out what happened today,19 June 2010' at our Funky Fai 6th Monthsary Celebration at Mona J's Boutique level 2 at 41 Bussuroh St.. It would not had happen without you guys!.. Funky Fai you guys really booms..

Well basically we enjoyed ourselves by playing a major number of Bonding Games such as 'Ice Breaker',

'Guess the Title', 'Don't Forget The Lyrics' and of course some Questionaires about Faizal Isa before his arrival....

OMG!! At 3.38pm, The Funky Fai Comittees were informed by Auntie Mona that Faizal CAN'T make it last minute due to YOG recording... Our JAWS dropped and almost burst into tears!!! hahahahaha... :) Surprise.. Surprise...!!!

A few minutes after that, Faizal arrive with a birthday cake for us...So sweet.... All the fans were shouting and screaming when they saw Faizal...

Soon after that, we celebrated our Funky Fai 6th Monthsary by singing a Happy Birthday song..

Not forgetting the birthday celebration of the May & June Babies...

Hey Hey... We also introduced our newest Funky Fai handshake.... it was soooo cool until we can't stop doing it..

Soon after that due to time constraints, we took a group photo of Funky Fai followed by phototaking session with Faizal...

Lastly, we hope you guys enjoyed the gathering and the handshake that we learnt just now..

Hey Funky Fai.
How are you guys doing?

Firstly, for those who came for the mini launch I wanna say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys have always been there for me and I truly appreciate it a lot!

Life for me, has been fantastic so far. I am truly blessed!

After my mini launch on 17th March, I was invited to RIA 89.7fm by Kak Nity Baizura to be her guest artiste on SKOOLZ. The experience was initially nerve-wrecking but I learned to relax and soon enjoyed myself Did you guys catch that? I will get my manager to upload the clip soon.

Then on that Sunday, 2nd May I was being interviewed on News! Followed by an article on Berita Harian on Monday.

The journey so far has been amazing. And I hope I can go through every single bit with you, Funky Fai.

Ok till then.

Lets look forward to picnic in June.

Oh boy!

I've left this blog unattended. My bad!
Funky Fai, how have you guys been doing???

I've been busy myself.
Ever since the last event in December, I've been actively involved in Cinta Ixora, a drama series on SURIA. Do you like my acting skills? hehe. I'm sure there's load of improvement to be made but I am happy to be given the chance.

And finally...I've also recorded my very first single and am pretty excited to launch it.
I will like to share this joy with you... everyone of you who have been the wings behind my back!
It is happening this Saturday, in a restaurant nearby Bugis from 7pm onwards.
I will be performing the song for the very first time and you will be my judges!
I hope to see you there this Saturday, 17th April.

To those who came for the party, on behalf of the fanclub and Faizal, we wanna say thank you very much! Hope you guys had fun and were entertained by the performances.

Yes! The fanclub was launched on 131209.

FUNKY FAI is now the official fanclub name.

by the way,this is a completely late thank you note. I've been kinda busy with my other commitments after Idol.

SG Idol has made me gain a lot of learning experience, met a lot of people and it has definitely widen up my horizons.

to ALL family members - THANK YOU for all the support and love that you've me and my family throughout my journey.you guys are awesome!i truly appreciate this family bonding we've shared.

to my friends (wherever you guys are!) - thank you for always being there despite your busy schedules.you guys are great!!! :p

Unbelievable.

Are you surprised? I was still surprised after half an hour. I believed Faizal to be invincible. Seriously. I thought he'd go all the way to Final 2 judging from the amount of support he gets wherever he goes. His fans are rabid (and I say that in the most positive kowtow way possible).

The scream-o-meter always hits RED whenever he makes an entrance, be it at a mall, on stage, or even off a bus. I did not expect him to go home tonight.
Plus, I thought he did okay considering he was quite ill - lost his voice, couldn't hit the notes he wanted to - the song was a good choice and in typical Faizal fashion - a hit with his fans. I enjoyed it too, although I could see that his energy level wasn't his usual, probably owing to him being sick.

Kudos to Faizal for making it this far. He's just 17. Top 5 is a great achievement. Imo, he's grown so much as a performer too from the time we saw him at auditions to now. Yes he needs some work on his diction, but I think he's got everything else going for him. A few more years of training and who knows where he'll be :) He went from Mummy's boy to Singapore Idol's resident heartthrob.

I also give him major props for being so focused, eyes on the prize, amidst the negative comments from the Judges week after week, especially recently. He has also never failed to take care of his family, friends and fans with many kind words and that great megawatt smile.
I'm gonna miss Faizal and that smile, I love his smile, it has a way of making you feel important. Definitely not the last we'll see of this sweet boy.
We love ya Faizal Isa! The Idol family will always continue to be the 'wings behind your back' too! ;)
Btw, Faizal's Idol journey may have ended,but we'll still be seeing him next week! Yay! Faizal will be back for the group performances on Spectacular 10's results show with Nurul, Amira, Farhan, Duane and Malaque. Justin and Mae are in US and Australia respectively and won't be able to make it :(

Members of Faizal Fanclub is definitely in state of shock!The family, fans, voters and supporters are all in state of denial.Faizal was never in bottom 3 before. But he was being eliminated yesterday. Was it all conspiracy?

On behalf of Faizal Fanclub, we would like to thank family, friends, supporters and voters for all your votes, support, faith and love. The journey has been crazy. But all of you stood by him till he made it this far in Idol journey!

His Idol journey may ends yesterday.
But his music career is just about to begin!

Do continue to support him, for he might just be as big as Taufik and Hady despite not winning the title.
