Introducing Funky Fai

Hey all

To those who came for the party, on behalf of the fanclub and Faizal, we wanna say thank you very much! Hope you guys had fun and were entertained by the performances.

Yes! The fanclub was launched on 131209.

FUNKY FAI is now the official fanclub name.

To be join the fanclub, all you need to do is:
1) Email us your particulars (name, contact numbers and date of birth)

2) You will receive an email of notification to inform that you are now a Funky Fai crew!

As a member of Funky Fai, you will be first to be updated on news and also join in activities organized by the fanclub. We'll have another gathering in January.

sorry i couldn't join you for results show tonight. but i promise you'll see more of me. =)

by the way,this is a completely late thank you note. I've been kinda busy with my other commitments after Idol.

SG Idol has made me gain a lot of learning experience, met a lot of people and it has definitely widen up my horizons.

to ALL family members - THANK YOU for all the support and love that you've me and my family throughout my journey.you guys are awesome!i truly appreciate this family bonding we've shared.

to my friends (wherever you guys are!) - thank you for always being there despite your busy schedules.you guys are great!!! :p

to auntie mona & family - thank you so much for your undying support and encouragement all these while. thanks for the lucky charm (the "F" brooch) that Auntie Mona gave.

lastly, to ALL OF YOU - thank you so much for believing in me, for sticking through my journey, being my strongest pillar, for all the screams during roadshows and spectaculars. I hope you guys will never ever stop being the wings behind my back & lets soar like an eagle together. (we can do this guys!!)

Unbelievable.

Are you surprised? I was still surprised after half an hour. I believed Faizal to be invincible. Seriously. I thought he'd go all the way to Final 2 judging from the amount of support he gets wherever he goes. His fans are rabid (and I say that in the most positive kowtow way possible).

The scream-o-meter always hits RED whenever he makes an entrance, be it at a mall, on stage, or even off a bus. I did not expect him to go home tonight.
Plus, I thought he did okay considering he was quite ill - lost his voice, couldn't hit the notes he wanted to - the song was a good choice and in typical Faizal fashion - a hit with his fans. I enjoyed it too, although I could see that his energy level wasn't his usual, probably owing to him being sick.

Kudos to Faizal for making it this far. He's just 17. Top 5 is a great achievement. Imo, he's grown so much as a performer too from the time we saw him at auditions to now. Yes he needs some work on his diction, but I think he's got everything else going for him. A few more years of training and who knows where he'll be :) He went from Mummy's boy to Singapore Idol's resident heartthrob.

I also give him major props for being so focused, eyes on the prize, amidst the negative comments from the Judges week after week, especially recently. He has also never failed to take care of his family, friends and fans with many kind words and that great megawatt smile.
I'm gonna miss Faizal and that smile, I love his smile, it has a way of making you feel important. Definitely not the last we'll see of this sweet boy.
We love ya Faizal Isa! The Idol family will always continue to be the 'wings behind your back' too! ;)
Btw, Faizal's Idol journey may have ended,but we'll still be seeing him next week! Yay! Faizal will be back for the group performances on Spectacular 10's results show with Nurul, Amira, Farhan, Duane and Malaque. Justin and Mae are in US and Australia respectively and won't be able to make it :(

Members of Faizal Fanclub is definitely in state of shock!The family, fans, voters and supporters are all in state of denial.Faizal was never in bottom 3 before. But he was being eliminated yesterday. Was it all conspiracy?

On behalf of Faizal Fanclub, we would like to thank family, friends, supporters and voters for all your votes, support, faith and love. The journey has been crazy. But all of you stood by him till he made it this far in Idol journey!

His Idol journey may ends yesterday.
But his music career is just about to begin!

Do continue to support him, for he might just be as big as Taufik and Hady despite not winning the title.

Cos Faizal Isa is a winner in our eyes and heart!
